Same-day flower delivery in Melaka works like this at Apple Florist: order before 2PM, and any address within Melaka Tengah gets the flowers the same day, free of charge. Outer districts are next day for RM30. Flower stands include delivery everywhere in Melaka state. That is the whole rule; the rest of this page explains the edges of it, so your order does not fall on the wrong side of one.
What is the cut-off time for same-day delivery in Melaka?
2PM. Orders placed on appleflorist.my before 2PM go out the same day within Melaka Tengah. The homepage shows a live countdown to the cut-off, and the date picker at checkout only offers today if today is still possible, so you cannot accidentally pick a date we cannot meet.
If you miss the cut-off and it is urgent, WhatsApp Apple Florist. Sometimes it can still be done, sometimes not; we will say which.
Which areas of Melaka get same-day delivery?
Melaka Tengah, the central district. That covers Melaka city and the areas around it: Bandar Hilir, Ayer Keroh, Bukit Baru, Batu Berendam, Klebang, Ujong Pasir, Cheng, Bachang, Tanjung Kling and the rest of the district. If the address has a Melaka Tengah postcode (75xxx), it is same-day.
Outer districts get next-day delivery: Jasin, Alor Gajah, Merlimau, Sungai Udang, Bemban and similar. If you are unsure which district an address falls in, WhatsApp the address to Apple Florist before ordering and we will tell you.
Apple Florist does not deliver outside Melaka state.
What does delivery cost?
- Melaka Tengah: free, for every product.
- Outer Melaka districts: RM30 per order for bouquets and boxes, next day.
- Flower stands and condolence pieces: delivery is already in the price, anywhere in Melaka state, so no fee is added.
There are no hidden charges at checkout; the total you see is the total you pay.
What time will the flowers arrive?
Same-day orders go out in the afternoon. If the flowers need to be there by a specific time (an opening at 4PM, a wake tonight, a dinner at 7PM), write it in the order notes and Apple Florist plans the route around it. Without a time, the driver delivers in the most efficient order across that afternoon's stops.
For a morning delivery, order the day before.
What if nobody is home?
The driver calls the recipient's number first. That is why checkout asks for the recipient's phone as well as yours. If nobody answers and nobody is home, the driver calls you, the sender, to decide: leave it with a neighbour or the guard house, or redeliver later. Give a number that will actually be answered that afternoon.
Can you deliver anonymously or as a surprise?
Yes. Write the name you want on the card (or none), and we deliver exactly that. The recipient's phone is still needed so the driver can reach someone at the door, but the driver does not reveal who sent the flowers unless the card does.
Same-day for every product, or only some?
Most bouquets, stands and wreaths are same-day. Items marked "pre-order" on their product page are not: those use imported blooms that follow flight schedules and need 3 to 5 days. The product page and the date picker both make this clear before you pay.
How do I know the flowers arrived?
Apple Florist's florist photographs the flowers at the door when handing them over, and you receive a WhatsApp link to a page showing the photo, the time and the recipient. If something is not right, tap "Something's not right" on that page and we deal with it. Once you are happy, tap "Received" or simply do nothing; the order closes by itself after 24 hours.
